Movies that (so far) have only gotten DVD releases...
[Cries in HD and Ultra HD definition]
Who doesn't love the movie watching experience? And with making that experience the best possible, we often like to purchase the best quality of picture format, TV, and equipment. But sometimes studios aren't interested in releasing films in higher resolution or rereleasing them at all.
This is a list of movies that (in the U.S.) have only been released in DVD, which is subject to be changed and updated as more future movies are only released in DVD or current DVD only movies get rereleased with a blu-ray and/or 4K UHD upgrade release:
1. Blackberry (2023)
2. Meet Bill (2007)
3. Ride The Eagle (2021)
Special Honor List: Movies that DID get a blu-ray or 4K UHD release, but either this release is currently out of print, really really really (times 34) hard to find or the upgrade transfer received bad reviews, so DVD will likely be your best bet in finding/enjoying this film:
1. Committed (2000) - this film received a limited release, and currently retails at around $90, yet the reviews are horrible for it.
2. BaseKetball - blu-ray review received awful reviews.
3. Junior - hopefully this specific blu-ray transfer won't be back!
